where is the rev limiter on the 425 expidition so that i can unhook it?

 

Good luck. We never figured it out. The Scrambler guys will tell you it's the orange wire coming out of the left handgrip. But on the EXP that wire goes to the the reverse solenoid. WE put a H.O. cam and a 42mm flat slide, TM-40 bored out to 42mm. Worked GREAT! till it hit the rev-limiter. That quad is gone, replaced by a Raptor. my local dealer told me that he knew where it was but he couldnt tell me or show me .thats a bunch of crap.

 

It is in the CDI BOX And good luck trying to unhook it.

 

could i put a cdi off of a 500 magnum or sportsman on it to cure it?
