FMF is great depends on what you have i guess a have a scrambler 500 with a megamax II spark arestor it gives it alot of bottom end i can ride wheelies just by hiting the throttle it is awesome as for two stroke pipes i heard they work great they sound good too i have seen a scrambler 400 4x4 with fmf pipe all around and a stock sport race the scrambler beat it at the line and from then on the sport had no chance.

Sporty 400 2x4,
The thing with pipes for Polaris two strokes is that you must have a clutch kit for it, because you are changing the power curve of the machine. If you don't have a clutch kit for your machine, it will most likely end up being louder and slower than stock. As far as I know the "off brand" pipes do not include clutch kits with their pipes. I've seen many people out there that have been suckered in to buying a pipe like an FMF because it is a reputable brand. Well it is, for every other machine EXCEPT Polaris. Because the user controls the shifting on most other brands it is not a problem. But when the machine does the shifting for you, you are bound to end up being slower than you were stock. The pipe does make more horsepower than stock, but with out it getting to the ground, it's a moot point.

Hypersport400XC I, Know about needing a clutch kit for the bike. But couldnt you just adjust the clutch kit you have for these pipes. I had a chance to buy a jet hot coated LRD Pipe from a guy with a Sport 400. He just switched to G-Force (what most people run down here). He swaped the pipes out at the dunes that day. It didnt run as good with the G-Force because of the different powerband. Needed a diff front spring. Im learing quick that if you want to mod these bikes you need to know about the clutch setups. Also had the chance to buy a Chrome G-force pipe for 150 but the guy left before i got his #. Im asking has anybody used the other pipes with some clutch work and how did it work.

Sporty 400 2x4,
You might be able to adjust the driven (rear clutch) but you'll need different weights and a different spring for the front (drive clutch). A different helix would help in the back too. In short, the best "deal" out there would be to get a complete kit from one of the major manufacturers like HPD,RCR and Hot Seat.
