How does the new Kawasaki 650 compare to the Scrambler 500 4x4? Should I spend the extra $1000? Thanks.

 

I work at a Suzuki,Kawasaki,Yamaha,and Polaris dealer.The 650 Kawi Hauls butt.It will spank my 2X4 SCR500.Spend the money,it's an awesome machine.BTW,we have the new Grizzly and "seat of the pants" tells me the Kawi will kick its butt as well(in a drag race anyway).The Grizzly does raise the bar in the ride department.Look out 500 HO.

 

I rode a 650 Prairie last week,and was <u>VERY IMPRESSED</u> with the power and nimbleness of that big a quad. I even took the wife over to look at it, since I have the 300 Honda 3X4 up for sale, and she'll mainly be riding the Kawi on the rides we take together.
It would be a close race between a stock Scrambler 4X4 and a Prairie on open ground, in the tight woods I would give the edge to the Scrambler. I'm keeping my modded 400 2X4 Scrambler and replacing the Honda.

 

Rode the new kawi yesterday,and was very impressed with the power and the smoothness.It was quit also.
