i also had a quadracer. i sold mine though, it was an '85 and it ran good, but needed some tlc. and i needed the money for my new scrambler. got $1400 out of it i thought i would be bored with the auto trans. but the scrambler is awesome. i am sorry i got it. i love having electrci start, rev., 4x4, and still able to go just as fast as i could with my racer. the only thing is htat it takes alittle more effort to manuever. it does weight a bit over 100lbs more. its the funnest quad i ever rode. it is at home both on the coal dumps where i ride and climb alot of steep hills, and it is at home on the trails, in muddy, rocky conditons too. it is a great all around quad. my girlfriend likes it as well because she can ride it. i can't wait until spring when i put an rcr stage 1 kit in it. that will give me around +10hp. plan on doing other mods afterwards. i want to show all those idiots out there that are like "why did you get that thing..." too many people under estimate the performance of the scrambler. my one buddy was amazed how well it climbed and outran his 400ex. you won't be disappointed.
