changing the spark plug on a 500!! ARGGG

i just got done changing the spark plug on my scram and let me tell u it was hard you can barely get to it then when i was taking the coveer thing that goes over it i pulled on that and it ripped so i got a new ngk one then the park plug wrench polaris gives you isnt even right it is 13/16 and the spark plug it 5/8 so finly we got it done it took about 30 minutes aint that terable am i doin somthing wrong is there a faster way i am glad it is 4 stroke and i wont go through plugs like a two stroke!!

I changed mine when doing the valves. I had the gas tank off, and for a couple of bucks, it was replaced.

I can change mine in about 30 seconds. Maybe the 500 isn't as easy to get to as the 400.

Only about a 3 minute job on the 400 Scrambler, but I know it really sucks to do a plug change on my Sportsman.
I feel your pain.
Polaris could have made that a little easier on us.
