I had both the front and rear rack.. I took the front rack off because I didn't like the way it looked. Plus the front rack does not hold much. The front rack is really not that expensive new. Now I only use the rear rack. Scrambler domain has pics.

Same here.. Had both front and rear racks on it.... NEVER actually used the front rack for anything... kept it on for a year.... got tired of cleaning around it, took it off and hung it in the storage building...
The back rack is a necessity... Its good for protecting the rear fenders in one of my do-nuts gone bad.... Sliding around and around til I ran out of slide and up on its side I go... OOPS!!....
Also helps when riding wheelies.... If you buy a Polaris Rear Rack... go with the Larger of the two... and an Igloo Cooler ties on really well.... I'd offer to sell mine to ya, but as cheap as they are new, vs. the price of shipping... I think you could buy one new cheaper...

The front rack looks ok, but the only thing I see it being good for is protecting the fenders. If you use a rack bag, you can put some stuff on it, but the rack is small.
The rear rack is small too. Put a box, or bag on it, and it becomes very useful. I agree with the fact that it protects the quad well too. I have wheelied up on the rear rack a few times, and it keeps from rolling. One time I was playing in some steep creek beds, and it came over backwards and landed in the rocks. The rack saved the rear fenders. And last but not least, once when coming out of creek it wheelied up and stood perfectly on the rear rack at the top of the creek bank. Without the rack, it would have rolled on me. I love the rear rack, it even looks good most of the time. I only take it off for some photos and when I know for sure I won't be doing wheelies or carrying anything.
