Well so far all we've seen is a picture that could be fake. The "700" graphic on the tank does not look very professional, and could be just a big joke the guys in Nashville have put together just for fun. He-he, it would be pretty funny, we are such sucker reactionaries on here. This dealer show is supposed to be today, I called my dealer, and he's out giving a demo ride. Guess he couldn't make it to the show eh? I'll believe it when I see it on the Polaris website !

That picture was taken in Polaris Headquarters and is VERY much the real thing! It was taken with a digital camera and you all know how those are. You don't always turn out with a perfect picture.

Can you tell me why Polaris decided to make a 700CC with only 2 valves per cylinder instead of 4 and OHC?

Because push rod engines tend to be torquier than overhead cam engines and it also makes for a more compact design.

fourlix,

You said you'll believe it when it is on the Polaris web site? Well the Scrambler X isn't on the web site either, but it does exist. I've seen at least four of them, touched and sat on them. They seem real enough to me. But maybe you're right, we could all be in "The Matrix" right now and none of this is real. Maybe it's just electrical signals interpreted by our brains that cause us to believe it's real.

The Matrix has you, Neo.
