What year of the scrambler 400 4x4's would you guys call the easiest to maintain and most reliable? Any help would be great becuase i would like one of them to be my first quad. Please Help. Thanks!!!!

Anything after 1999. Get one, then I'll sell you an HPD nickel plated pipe for it.

so are you saying that the 99 400 4x4 is quality quad and is easy to maintain and reliable? And so is the 2000 400 4x4? why not any of the 1997's or the 1996's? Just curious. Thanks

Before 97 the 4x4's are chain drive, Alot of maintance and parts to wear out, My buddies 96 seemed to eat front chains and sprockets pretty often, Other than that theres not much differance than concentric drive and long travel suspension on the 99 & up models.
