I have seen these dampers advertised and thought it would help because we ride on mostly rocky trails. Has any one used one and are they any help??? Thanks.

I installed one on my Sport. I was amazed at the difference. After a couple of rides, I couldn't imagine riding without one. It's well worth the money, and easily installed with a few sockets and an allen wrench.

Buy it you'll love it. Make sure to take your time and square everything up. Start on the lower/lowest setting first, and find the comfort zone. Like Quadfather said, it's an easy install.

If I can install one then anybody should be able to install one. It was a very easy install and it has made a world of difference on my sport. I started at the lowest setting and now I keep it in the middle but that is just where I like it. I would like to see it a little cheaper but that was the only down side.

Would a steering damper be good for sport riding? If so who supplies this part? If have looked at several mfgr's and could not find one.

Goof, that is what it was really made for, most guys who race have some sort of damper on their quad.

Duh, Goofie is blind. Thanks for the point out. Must be too much work and not enough riding time.
