Which Polaris dealer web site? Where did you get the model number and other details? Is the engine actually 400cc, or 378cc like the 2000 model? I hope it has a bigger more powerful engine :-) Less weight would be nice to!

 

The engine is the same 378cc. The picture used a 500 just to illustrate the graphics. The 400 4x4 Scrambler is a 2 stroke......now everyone just take a deep breath, and have a little faith......and to head off the next question, no, it's not the same new mystery sport quad being tested in Cali......that is a whole different machine. The winds of change are blowing, and they're coming from the north. Have some patience, they are taking their time to make sure they get it right. People can say what they want, if you could see the torture tests they folder from the 700 went through, you could just sit back and crack open your favorite brew, just like you were waiting for that monster muskie. Hang in there ladies and gents, the 700 is a month away, and the 500 sport/racer has a little camshaft gremlin.....they know....if they build it, we will buy.

you guys are right about one thing it is a four stroke.
but it is not a 400. All it is is a scrambler 500 2x4 with black plastic and the graphics from polaris's racing snowmobiles. with a aluminum bumper and new wheels.
