I'm very close to purchasing a ITP wheel and rim combo from Dennis Kirk, but I was wondering if I should change rim or tire size.how would I benefit from a 9 inch rim?Would a wider tire w/narrow rim protect the rim.I ride in mostly rocky areas. The tires would be holeshots front+rear.Combo price is unbeatable $250(tires/.190).ATV is a scram 500 4X4,2000.Im begining to think not to overthink things and stick to stock sizes. Thanks

I just bought four Holeshot XCT's on T-9 Edge wheels from someone on this board in like new condition. I went out last night for the first time and they worked great. There is a lot of rocks where I ride but the XCT is designed so that it protects the edge of the wheel. Where do you ride?? I go with some friends to Otis or Pittsfield MA. Good luck.

Beware. Kirks "combo" prices are for 1 tire and 1 wheel only not a pair, I have there new catalog and at first thought wow! What a deal, But the fine print confirms 4 tires and 4 wheels is about $500.
