I noticed better throttle response right away with the delta v-force.The stock reeds and cage are good for a STOCK bike!if your looking to go fast and the v-reeds work great, especially with a hpd trail pipe, porting,or a bigger carb.

If you plan on a HPD race-port, go with the V-force Delta II's. Great deal more surface area. I too, like Quadfather have a set of the original V-forces for sale. Go to Mobildyno.com, and you can see the dyno sheets from some reed mods.

I have a 300 Express. It is a 300 two stroke but it doesn't have reeds. I know that the 400's due and even the 350's due but why don't I or the trailblazers. I would think that all 2 strokes should have them. Does it have something to do with liquid cooling? Because the trailblazers and I don't have liquid cooling.

Forget about the delta v-force reed cage. I have the reed cage and also have boyeson carbon fiber reeds for my xplorer. I bought the delta reed cage to begin with and after about 8 months it came time to replace the reeds. I decided to try some carbon fiber reeds instead of getting the replacements for the delta reed cage. They are the same price. I think that the carbon fiber reeds actually made more difference and are only 60 bucks compared to 150 for the delta v-force reed cage. The carbon fiber reeds last much longer than the delta's.

Boyeson makes the carbon fiber reeds. That is the kind that i run in all of my bikes. You can get them from just about every atv performance parts dealer.
