I have the same 400 engine in my 00 Xplorer.I have a MODIFIED PSI pipe on it.When I installed the PSI in its stock form,I TOTALLY lost all my low end.I sent it into Rick Ritter and he added two inches to the expansion chamber area.He also sent me a stock Scrambler silencer to keep the pipe quit. The combo works great.I picked up a TON of power.

I have a barely used Aaen pipe in my garage, for sale. I have a torn open (twice) FMF pipe in my garage, for sale. I just sold my Hot Seat pipe. I run the new HPD race pipe NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS PIPE FOR POLARIS PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is very little diffferance between a PSI pipe and a HDP pipe, they are very much alike. At least on my Xplorer anyways.RcR sent me a 99 HDP pipe for my 00 Xplorer, however,Polaris moved the shift lever for 1999 to 2000 and the shifter was in the way of the 99 HDP pipe. The PSI pipe was a perfect fit for my 00 model.
