why doesnt polaris make a true sport machine???? all of their quads are automatic so many sport riders dont like them. it seems like they would want to get into the sport market with honda and yamaha... why dont they?

Have a look in the September issue of ATV Sport Magazine. There is a few paragraphs about it. Not much, but hopefully it will help.

I'll take out some lines from the magazine article in Atv Sport.

what we know, 500cc 4-stroke w/ liquid cooling, 5-speed tranny, top speed
equal to that of a raptor or DS650. Its suppose to weigh
in the area of 380pds. And it has rack&pinion steering.

Both said its as fast or faster than a 400ex. (this is on an mx track)

The riders also felt that machine was lighter than the competition and was almost idealy setup for MX-track riding.

we live about 20 minutes outside of lansing... know of any riding spots?

 

I just moved up here from lower in the state. So about the only riding spot i know of is Silver Lake. Kinda sux cause since i moved i couldnt bring my quad b/c im in college and no where to ride it up here.
