purepolaris,

That picture was just a "mock up" of what the real one is supposed to look like with the metalic blue plastic. It will be a 378cc TWO stroke. Get it while you can! This year is supposed to be the last year for the two strokes, for 2003 they will use only the N.O. four strokes.

Same story from my dealer. Sept - Oct it should be on the floors. The story I heard from the dealer, same 400 4x4 as before with the same X options as the 500 Scram. Unless there is some DEFINITE word on an upgrade to the Scram line (700) this will be in my garage before winter.

This may sound weird but i knew about the scrambler x for more than 6 months .. we always seem to get new quads here in canada before you guys do.
I've already seen one. All they seem to be is just a scrambler with diffrent color plastic, graphics, alunimum rims, and a diffrent bumper from all i can see, I didn't get a really close look at it i just drove by the polaris dealership and saw it sitting there in the lot. I also saw a few pics of it a local trader magazine.
Canada's weird .. we had the ds650 for sale for about 3 months before the magazines got wind of it.
I was flipping through an auto seller magazine and i was a picture of it (not high quality for that matter) and saw underneith of it "The new DS650 fastest atv avalable"
I thought it was a suzuki before i saw it on the net a few months later.

Mike, Seriously no Polaris 2 strokers after this year? Man I hope not, I was kinda looking forward to buying another new 400 in a couple years and de-modding mine for the wife then

Todd 400,

Well, that's what a dealer's rep told someone. They basically said that they were going to replace both the 400 and 250 two strokes. I agree this stinks to high heaven!
