My 2000 SP335 has been a trouble-tree machine, except that the front bumper is turning white. I have used Armorall since new, and wonder if it was the wise thing to do. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I make it black again?

Thanks

Gary

I have had this same problem with everything plastic on my wheeler. Like the gas cap, oil cap (2 stroke), front bumper and the racks. The only thing that has gotten it off for me was to scrub it with a stiff brush with some good soap. It took a couple of times to get it back to the new looking black.

There is an excellent product called Forever Black that works very well on plastic and rubber. It's like a water based stain that lasts a long time. The white is not caused by Armorall, it's the plastic. Same thing happens on black fender flares, ect, over time. This stuff restores it to like-new condition. My SP500 received a treatment this past summer.
