What's the story with the 700Twin.
Okay they went, two cylinder, 700cc. Of course we love them for that however it is 140lbs heavier than the closest competition.
Man I wish they'd spent more time and effort on reducing the weight than adding a cylinder.
I have not ridden it yet but from looking at the specs it seems like it will be a handful in the woods.

I totally agree with you.I had a 99 500cc Sportsman and one of the reasons for getting rid of it was that it weighed 697lbs dry.I bought the lighter, more nimble 400cc 2 stroke Xplorer. Both ATVs wore out parts like there was no tommorrow and like spending their time for replacement parts in the shop.I will test ride the new 700,however,I really dont see me being to impressed with a pig that weighs 740lbs.Im going to take a hard look at Kawi's new v-twin and the new 660 Grizz.

Hey Bill, do you have any idea what the Grizzly weighs? I have not heard any mention of its weight.
It sounds like the Prairie 650 is one hell of a bike, I just do not like their swing axle! Good luck with your choice.

I dont know about the griz steering easally im not a woose or nothing like that but i have spent a fair amount of time on one and know that any one thinking of riding one on a regular basis might want to spend some time at the gym

After having a sport atv and a 4x4 i just think that a big 4x4 is more my style, i love the raptor, but for where i go and who i go with the gizz is alot more practical, plus i can plow my driveway in the winter, i was looking at the 650 and the new grizz, i chose the grizzly because of the suspension and looks, but it was a very close call
