I have a 99 xplor 400 and wanted to know what the amount of links are for the chain, I have a 36 tooth sprocket in the rear and a 13 in the front and wanted to know if anyone knows the # of links the stock chain would have, I cant count them because I took some links out and never counted before hand. Thanks for your help

You could take this with a grain of salt, but I downloaded the parts manual for a 2000. The 2000 is a 78P, according to Acrobat page 33. I measured some links left from my scrambler chain, and 8 links centered on the outer pins is 5 inches.

Therefore 5/8=.625 inches per link * 78 links your existing chain would be 48 3/4 inches long centered on the outmost pins.
