Stock jet for a 2000 SP500???
#1
I pulled my main jet this week and was surprised to discover a 162.5 stock main jet! The book calls for my altitude, and 40-80F temperature a 155 main jet for my 2000 SP500.
Is the 162.5 normal stock? It seems like I remember ChopperBill posting something about this several months ago... Was there a Polaris bulletin on this matter?
I have always felt my SP500 seemed a little sluggish -- it certainly ran like crap in Pitkin, CO, while everyone else's stock jet SP500 seemed to run fine.
Does everyone believe, like I do that the 162.5 is far too rich for 1100' altitude at my home in Missouri this time of year?
Would someone recommend something other than the 155 main that I am planning on replacing my 162.5 with?
Thanks!
