scrambler plastic?

anyone know if its possible to fit honda 250r plastic to a scrambler?
or would it be too much trouble to fool with it?

Anything it possible if your will to work at it. One thing I would like to know.

How did you shave off 130 lbs.? I think stock is 520lbs. right? Anyways, if you could - I would like to know.

the stock weight for the 400 is listed at 481 the 500 is 520

i weighted my quad before i did anything to it.it weighted 472 pounds i went from there. the 390 i am talking about is when i got it the lightest thats with the cooling fan removed,starter,battery and so on but when you trail ride you must use the cooling fan.

OUt of pure curiosity, why do you want to put 250R plastic on your Scrammy? That just don't seem right to me. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

just to be different i guess lol 250r plastic has so many more colors to chose from also.

Hey Bermbanger, with the info Fasterthangas gave me, I ran all summer w/o the cooling fan. Ran water wetter, HPD cool dome, and inline billet heat sink....never a problem, even in mid 90's temps. It doesn't have anti-freeze properties, so be careful.
