I have a modded TB an have never had a heat problem. I have heard of using a fan to help keep them cool

I have no problem with heat on my RCR's Blazer. Keep in mind that a little more heat is normal due to this being an air colled machine.
If your machine is running way way too hot though, check your jetting to be safe. Extra heat can mean rich conditions, which is not good.
