It seems kind of redundant. If you want to rip, get a sport quad. I realize that a few specialty shops might build one as a "novelty" quad, to highlight their products, but who would sink all of that dough into the quad, just to bring it home to dump a few grand more into it? It just seems silly.

 

It sounds like they tamed it down for the people that just like to cruse around and enjoy nature. Which is about all 4x4 riders by the way. But just change the spring and you will have a roostin wheelieing speed machine. Sounds like Polaris was thinking when they made it.

 

A 700 twin with a modified HO Aaen muffler and 28" mudzillas will wheely all you want plus spank an HO.

 

I for one really don't think there's much performance to be gained by increasing the engine size back to it's original 780 comfiguration. Look at their 4 stroke sled. It only produces 48 horsepower WITH fuel injection (the ATV produces 43). No, there probably is a better way to get more from this machine. As people have said from first hand experience the 700 twin, is really quiet. Maybe a less restrictive exhaust coupled with a larger carb and high compression pistons might do the trick. Who knows?
