I just got done eating my dinner. I got home about an hour ago. Our hours at the shop are 10 to 7. I am about a 40 minute drive from my shop. I'm not too crazy about the hours or the drive but at least I still smiled all the way home tonight. Outside of this I had a good first day. Our slowest days are wed. and thur. It will be nice to get used to everything before we get busy again on friday. I did rather well on their computer system. I learn a little quicker then they thought I would. Actually they origanally weren't going to hire me but, I was very assertive about being able to learn quickly and I have had a little part look up expierence before. (Thanks to incompitent parts people at other dealers, I would end up looking up the parts myself.)

Well, I have about three hours of training video's to watch. I just thought I would keep you guys posted and let you know I had a really great day.

40 minute drive, let me guess, LCR? Am I right. If so, we will more than likely speak to each other on the phone or bump into each other. Our shop does quite a bit of dealer trading with them.

uflg95,

Yeah, you guessed it. Allthough Street Track & Trail is also about 40 minutes away from where I live. I know the new parts manager their pretty well. He was the only guy at the counter that I would let look up parts buy himself. Everyone else I had to help so that I would get the right parts. These are the guys who gave me the little bit of expierence that I do have on this type of computer system. Someday I'll have to thank them for their incompitence.

Congrats on the new job. Remember to be upfront and honest with the customers and you wont have any problems. Got to go tear a couple atvs apart myself. Just wanted to say congrats....
