Has anyone done this? If so, how hard was it, it is something that can be done without any special tools? About how long did it take? Anything special I should know about this task before tackling it myself?
Thanks in advance for the information.

I have never done it on my Xplorer but it is very easy to do on a car. Just make sure that you have another gasket to put on it and that you scrape the old one off real good.

Anyone?? Was hoping that I would get some information. Also noticed that the front hub is leaking oil/grease towards the inside of the tire/wheel, I know it is vague, but any ideas what it might be? It has been a while since I was on here last, but found some very valuable information that was used. Thanks agian for all of your help.

Famosrichit- I too have replaced the thermostat on my truck, but that tends to be easier because you don't have all of the flaring to work around, not to mention it is a lot bigger space to work in.
