For any of you guys thinking of wasting money on a rad valve or delta reed cage. Try this first you just might like it, I do!!
The reed petal replacements for our bikes seem very limited right?
WRONG the reed petals are the same as the KDX200 or KDX220. Which now opens the door to many different reed companies. I bought the carbon tech reeds #107LT which gives a boost in the low to mid but they also have one to boost the mid to top #107HT. Throttle response is much improved compared to stock, and it only cost me $42.00 compared to $160.00.

Just some info I thought I would pass on to you guys.

Where did you get those reeds? Will it work for my '98 Scrambler 400 4X4? I've got the RCR pipe & clutch kit. That seems too good to be true! My Scrambler might keep up with my Tecate then...

I got them at my local cycle shop however you can buy them online atcarbon Tech
However if you have a local shop you might want to see if they have them.
Or find another place online that carries them a little cheaper than this. Mine cost $42.00 at my local shop.

Will this also work on a 400 Xplorer? A friend of mine has one and would be interested in this, I'm sure.
Thanks

You can also try Boyesen Power Reeds. They make two levels: Power Reeds which are like the stock reeds (a little better) and Pro Reeds which are carbon fiber and are similar to what MX racers used on the dirt bike track. These are good reeds. $40 should get them.
