I had the chance to ride a 700 this past week (sweeeeeet!!!) and I really liked the looks of the new Goodyears on it. I was just wondering how people like/dislike them. Are they a good trail tire? Mud? Opinions please.

So far I like the Goodyears. I have ridden trails, climbed a few small hills and drove along the edge of the lake. I just got 10 hrs on my 700 so the break-in period is over and I can put them to the real test. The edge of the lake is red clay and my scrambler was slipping and slideing and the back tires were spinning non-stop, but when I went through on the 700 I never spun a wheel!! I'll keep you posted ...COME ON RAIN!!!!!! Oh, and normally I pull my scrambler up in the front yard and rinse it off...no problem... well, I tried it with the 700 and those big ole' goodyears tore hunks of grass out of the yard. Kinda made the wife mad...lol!
