I am thinking about adding a kinda cab on my Sportsman during wintertime. Is there anything available out there - except the fancy tents called ATV cabs?

I ve seen something pretty cool in Canada last year - but do not remember the brand. It had a solid screen with a wiper and a real hard top. The sides were still open but it looked like that there is a way to attach a kinda door or so.

I dont need the doors but a hardtop and a solid screen would be fine.

Would a fairing be enough??

I have seen Sportsmans set up for winter riding with a windshield/fairing in the front, along with electric grips to keep your hands warm. The fairing was about as wide as the handlebars, and provided some wind protection for the rider's torso. The windshield was just tall enough to block the wind, but just short enough I could see over it if it ever iced over or got muddy (I am 6 feet tall).
I wish I could remember more details, but there are some good quality ones made my a company in Canada who's name escapes me right now.

Just check with your dealer. He should have access to several different models. Several companies make them...Moose being one of them. I've seen them in the Cabelas catalog, and have been thinking of buying one myself.

I just got the latest Cabela's catalog, and they have both a fairnig and a full cab listed there. Don't remember the price, though.
