Hello I see you are from Penhold Alberta not far from RedDeer my old stomping grounds. Do you do much biking around Medicine Lake just north or Rocky. I see you have a sled and where did you find snow with all this warm weather there is no snow in Alberta. Drop me a line maybe we can meat sometime and chat about some mud holes we have been in.

Hello Martin
You are right I am an early bird, my day usually runs for 12-16 hours a day and sometimes I get up early to get an early start. I am a Welder/Machinist and have a shop at home and do some portable work away from home. You say you work in the forest industry, I a have built Saw Mills here mostly in Alberta, British Columbia, some in the States and a few in Russia and Japan. I haven't had the chance to make it Austria though, I here it is beautiful where you are. Oh well enough chatter " Yes " Hydro Tracks has a Web site.
It is www.tjtinternational.com , you may have to use the dogpile search engine to arrive at their site but it worked fine for me. There is not much there pertaining to the unit itself but you will find a picture with the tracks hooked up to a Honda. I am going to Hydro tracks tomorrow and I will let you now some more when I do. Although if you phone them and talk to Tom he will fill you in probably better than I. Talk at you soon.

Thanks Gary
Yes, it looks like Lake Luoise or Banff over here. Very beautifull, but much too crowded. Its Millionaires playground - no space for common people anymore. BTW: My uncle is in Edmonton. His name is Joseph Knöpfler and he is a metal-worker too. He moved to Canada in the early 60ies and he was working in a mine or so. He is old now and bought a little ranch somewhere out of Edmonton where he retired. Dont know where that is , I was just 1 time in Edmonton in 94 on my way up North.

The tracks are the only ones out there that are self cleaning, they will not plug up with crud. The guides and grousers are replaceable while on the unit straight bolt on. This way you can add extra grousers for ice and snow or take them off for summer. With the tacks on back and front you actually have better bouyancy than a sled so they say and that is the concern of yours I do beleive. I the video I saw the tracks were on a Kawi 400 and the quad was going through 2ft. of snow so I would think it will handle the white stuff very well. Also they showed the quad going through mud that a bombadier couldn't handle. The bombadier was stuck 15ft. into the mud hole where as the quad with the tracks drove the entire 200 meters without any trouble.
There is nothing more I can tell you Martin except that I am going to purchase a set, soon as the boss lets me. All kidding a side, the traxx work very well and you won't be disappointed. Give them a call you the next step is yours.
