I am Looking at a used sportsman 500 4x4 IRS for $3000? Is this a good price? What should I look for when buying something used? (EX. oil,sparkplug) The brakes are kind of hard to pull and it is kinda hard to steer too. Of course, I am remember the steering and brakes on my 2wd. lakota. Also, the speedometer doesn't work. Any Ideas? Last, does this model have that front chain drive? i forgot to look.

What year? Sportsmans steer heavy. Do the tie rods have any play in them? How do the u-joint and CV joints look/seem?

 

oops its a 96. i look at it soem today but will most likely look at it more this weekend (mechinal parts)
