I cannot talk from personal experience but logic dictates that the v-blade would only be good for plowing 1 path the size of the blade. For instance, if you were plowing a snow covered driveway that was wide enough that you need to make several passes. You would end up just pushing snow back on a previously plowed path on either side of the new one. The nice thing would be that it would probably cut through the snow nicely. I guess it would depend on what you are using the plow for.

check out the state plow from cycle country. It's a tapered plow that throws the snow off to one side, is 52" wide and may be what your looking for. I believe that Moose ATV products (correct name?) has an identical plow called the county plow.

I got the V-plow
It's got 5 adjustments for each half of the blade
If you make it into a \/ it's good for getting more out of the
way without rolling off the sides
This way /\ is good for sidewalks or makeing paths
Each way has an advanage
/ \/ /\ \_ __
/

or you can use it as a stright blade which angles right or left

Yeah it's heavy so you need adj.spring kit or spring spacers

One of my friends has the 60" v plow. It's great. I have used it many times. As 500DUSE pointed out, you have so many ways to set it. It's a little heavy, but it's worth it because it's so versitile.
