I have "heard" the new sport quad this spring and we have all loved the idea. BUT after riding the Banshee I can't help but hope that the all new Polaris ****** (sport quad) will have a hard hitting 2 stroke 400 varaint?
They said the new 500 CC is going to be a great motor will they or does anyone know if they will step up there 400 2 stroker?
Love to see Polaris make a banshee beater even if it is polaris's special limitted edition.

I highly doubt you will see a new mass produced 2 stroke atv from any manufacturer. With the proposed EPA regulations coming, and with the heat already on our sport from greenies, it would be bad PR...and ultimately a bad business decision.
Although it would be very cool, I just can't see it happening. The new sport machine will be a large bore 4 stroke.

I could see Polaris making a limited edition 2-stroke model. They always have special editions. Yellow TBoss, X series, Freedom series, etc.

If they make it we will buy

Just even use the current 400 I hear it makes good power just needs a manual, no oil injectors though

Both Polaris and Bombardier have EPA friendly 2 stroke PWC's, but I doubt that those motors will ever find their way into an ATV.

Thumpers are here to stay.

AZ didn't your 400 dyno at 65 horse or something crazy like that. See Polaris CAN do it, just throw the same motor in a lighter kick a$$ frame and there it is a banshee beater
