Bulldog~
Get ahold of Mickey Dunlap at 4 Stroke Tech. They have something like a 600 kit that makes upwards of 60 hp. Sorry I don't have any contact info or prices or anything else for you. As far as I'm concerned, buying a pipe or cam from the other major Polaris aftermarket companies is a waste of time. Very little bang for the buck on the Polaris 500 engine.

It would be nice to hear from someone who is running this kit. Wonder how well it would due against the new 650, 660, 700 class atv's???

I called today talked to him. He seemed like a very nice guy im going wit the 600 kit. He has to mod my cylinder i also have to send the crank and cam. i have to run the stock clutch which works out perfect because my roller clutch is shot. and i also have and hpd pipe which he said is a good pipe for it and a 42mm carb. he said the difference was night and day i will keep u posted on the total price.

OBTW he said the kit was relieable he had it on a sportman for 4 years and is still going i hope it works out

Well, if it really does close to 60HP in a machine that is as light as a 500cc class machine, it is my guess that it will stomp all over the new big displacement quads- at least in speed department!
