I have a 00 T.B. that i have taking the mud flaps of off and would like to trim the plastic up so that you won't see the holes where the mud flaps mounted to......
Has anyone done this and if so how much do you trim and do you have any pics for me to see,and i noticed that my plastic seems to flap around some since taking the mud flaps off, will i need to make some sort of braces to support the plastic or will triming it up help to stop that ???
I am also considering a set of nerfs in the near future..

Thanks for any help.....

I have cut or I should say trimmed alot of plastic off my
99 TB. So, I would say the more you cut the less it will
flop around. I trimmed about 1 1/2 inches off the front
and 2 inches off the rear fenders. I left my mud flaps on
but trimmed them to match what I cut off the fenders.my quad

talon thats 1 sweet *** blazer u got there

spanky i trimmed mine with tin stips and then used a dremble tool and half round file to smooth the edges down . i had to shorten mine alot due to a rollover and busted fenders.also if you get nerfs DO NOT get hot seats way to expensive i got ac banshee bend that fit great with just a lil tweaking i only paid 119.00 for them too. sorry i dont have any pics of mine .if you need something else give me a yell.ok

I know i have to cut the floor boards off but will i let the one bar on that holds the foot peg or does it come off too?? And what do you use to cut the bar or bars off that hold the floorboards on?? One last ??,, will i need to do any welding??

i used a sawzall to cut them off leave the back 1 its where your foot peg will go no welding is involed just a lil bending of the bars i bent mine by hand so its not very much. sporty i dont know if the others will fit or not havent heard of anyone useing them though.also on your clutch side i left the front bar a lil long so it would protect the cover from underneath got to heatseats web page and download the intructions on the nerf bars it has pics on how to do it guys.
