I dont now where to start, do alot of sand dune riding, & well try to jump, but its is just that little bit too heavy.
I would be happy as for any ideas...

Also any body know where I could get a tech-manuel for a 98 Trail Blazer...Thx..

I can only think of a few things that might help.
Remove the oil injection system. You will then have
to pre-mix all of your oil. Have your fly wheel
lightened. Replace anything that is made of metal
with chrome moly (swingarm, steering post and A-arms)
Thats all I can think of but I'm sure there are others.

He has his bikes weight down to about 265lbs.
Your dealer should be able to order a shop manual for you!

all of the above....plus....remove the floorboards and add nerf bars. I found that Graydon Proline Banshee bars work rather well with little modification. Aluminum handle bars....any aluminum bars will be lighter than stock. Aluminum front bumper instead of the stock one. Remove the air box and add a clamp-on K&N. You might want to add an aluminum air box if you ride in a lot of mud. Remove the battery and everything electrical that is not needed. You will then have to pull start it......not too bad....that is what I do! If you remove the battery...you can then remove the battery bracket, tail light, head light...or run that off of your stator. Aluminum rims instead of steel.

Stinky,

If putting nerf bars on your machine doesn't sound like your cup of tea, you could always order ALUMINUM floorboards from the Scrambler series. Plus you can remove the foot brake, it's pretty useless and can only be used once before needing readjustment. If you absolutely must have the lightest wheels, nothing weighs less than the stock aluminum wheels that the Scramblers comes with.

Hey stinky, If you remove your battery, then you might as well remove the starter, too. If you do, then White Brothers make a battery eliminator kit that works well, it is very small and weighs almost nothing and you can still run your lights, althogh at low revs it dims.

For the starter cover you can also goto Polaris an get one for the 95 or older Trail Blazers. I have striped my quad down an remover everything not needing in Motocross racing like lights an exceta.
I don't think you can get a 98 down to what mine weight is but close if you did same thing I did.
