I've lost my spare key to my 00 Sportsman500 and the dealer said a blank key will cost $10 + cutting. Does anyone know of an aftermarket key for the late model Polaris'? Thanks,

Tim

My dealer charged me 5.75 for a blank.
Took it to the local hardware store, and they cut it for free.

Here's a little secret. The best place to keep the spare key on your Polaris is inside the shifter ****. When I had my Magnum, I wrapped the spare key in a piece of paper towel, popped the top of the shifter and dropped it in. The paper towel keeps it from rattling and you always have a spare in case something happens to your primary key.

Does that mean free rides on Kevin's quad for those of us who live close?

Check my signature to see what I'm riding. Can't do it on this one.

You know the old 60's bumper sticker, "Gas, Grass or A$$; no one rides free". These days have changed my perspective a little: I get the first, cut the second, and as for the third, my wife tells me to kiss hers. Still no free rides.
