Wow, I've never seen a wheeler get dizzy and just fall over all by itself. How is it that your buddy could go from riding a wheelie to the machine flipping over on its side? It sounds like rider error to me.

So what your saying is, if your riding a WHEELIE on a ROAD, the quad may just FLIP on to its SIDE for no apparent reason and could result in damage to the quad. I'll have remember that because I might never have thought of that one on my own.

I'm sorry I'm being such a smart a$$ but you are on here telling people that this model machine is junk because if you wreck it, it might break. Go figure. Sounds to me that maybe you and your friends should improve on your riding skills a little more. Please don't get all bent out of shape from my comments but I hear all the time from people that crash their machine and cause damage, then they turn around and call the machine junk.

I ride my machine pretty hard but I use my brain when I ride. I think I may have wrecked mine 3 times in the last 2 years and the most I damaged was a bent rack mount. I can say that I was flying down a snow covered trail one day at about 30 mph and clipped a tree stump that I couldn't see through the snow and broke my tie rod linkage. I don't blame the machine for breaking itself, it was my fault. Luckily thou, it broke the linkage instead of bending an a-arm or causing me to come to a dead stop and flying over the machine.

f u dude they need to make the parts just a little bit stronger, or make the fourwheeler lighter, cause when you have a 465 pound fourwheeler you can't have little wimpy parts like the trail blazer have, we have flipped my friends 300 ex a bunch of times and it don't break a thing, thats cause it only weighs about 300 lbs. and its got stronger tierods and basically every thing, it holds up alot better than my piece of junk.

Dude don't get soo upset,, your blood pressure is up and you might have a stroke or something,if you are that unhappy with your quad why the hell don't you just go trade it in on the one you really want instead of making an a$$ out of yourself ?? I don't think any of us will give a rats *** if you do trade soo don't do us any favors by keeping it for our sakes..

jviper85,

You know, I figured I'd get that type of response from you. I'm done being a smart a$$. If you want a quad like your friends 300EX then I think you should get one.

I know all about the Polaris weak parts. Like I already told you, I had to replace my stock tie rod ends with automotive tie rod ends. These are literally three times the size and are already over a year and a half old with absolutely no signs of wear. The front wheel bearings in mine have been replaced by tapered roller bearings and have lasted as long as my tie rods. If they happen to get a little loose I just tighten them up.

I bought my Polaris because I liked the machine. As parts started to wear/brake, I replaced them with better ones. I didn't want to keep buying the same parts only to have to buy more of those same parts. Now that I have fixed all their weak areas, I can now spend my money making it run better and modifing even more parts. I now have a quad that accelerates twice as fast, takes a hell of alot more of beating and still never spends one day broken down. I'm no where done modifing this thing and I can't wait to get it done. Until then I can jump on it at anytime and go riding faster and harder than I could a year ago.

My point, if you see a weak area then do something to make it better. Otherwise you just keep building the same weak machine. In your case, think of all the money you have spent on the same stock parts that keep breaking. If you would like some advice on how to make it better, I would be glad to help. If you want a 300EX, then go get one.

elroy i agree with you but my dad won't let me hes the one buying the parts, but thats also the reasong that about a month or two ago i had all my money saved up and i was going to go and buy a 2002 blaster, but them my midterms came from school and mom and dad wouldn't let me, but the good thing about those midterms was they saved me from spending all of my money on a four wheeler becuase about two days after those midterms came the tranny in my car went out and i had to buy a new car so, i got a 94' escort wagon lx, its blue, and i don't care that its a wagon cause the back seat folds down and you know what thats good for, the car don't have even a spot of rust and its only got 140,000 miles onit and i got it for $900.00, from my boss, my old car had 227,500 miles on it, and it was a rust bucket. but if i would have bought the blaster i could have supped it up and dad wouldn't have had any say about it, i could have done basiccly whatever i wanted to, but another thing that sucks about 4 weeks i got kicked out of school for the rest of the school year cause i hit the gym coach, and that was my first time ever gettin in trouble at school since 4th grade, and they went and kicked me out for the rest of the year, so i had to go and buy me a new computer and internet and pay for school over the internet, it so far has cost me about $3000.00. it sucks. over the internet school is cool cause you work at your own pace and you don't have someone there trying to make you do the work.

I am the one that flipped his bike over.I was riing a wheelie down his road.It came over to far and The back brakes didn't work. There was no way to save it.It flipped over backwards and I threw it off me sideways. And it somehow bent the tie rod and the spindle.

To me that is a bit stupid.I mean a simple roll over causes 400 dollars in damage. My dad is the one that welded the swingarm up.Yes it did snap in half.I also saw the other broken spindle,I saw the bent A-arms.I have saw ever thing this bike has been through.

Like he said We ride the crap out of my R and 300ex and have hardly any probs.Besides shocks on the 300ex.

I know some other people with a polaris scramblers one is a 400 and the other a 500 4x4.The 500 is on it's 3rd front end.The 400 goes through chain and sprockets like water, the starter is broken. Now the 400 has a bent steering stem from rolling over in sand.

I know some off guys have never had anyprobs with your bikes but so far I am not one to ask about polaris's reliablity record!

My trail blazer never breakes! I ride it really hard in the dunes, jump it at least 5ft, an the thing just wont break. It has about 200 hours on it. However, riding this thing stock is fun until about a few months after u get it. So i recomend spending a few more g's for a scrambler 500 2x4, or scra. 400.
