Why a Polaris? Here's a tidbit I heard on the trail. Two days after the Sept. 11th attack, there were over 100 Sportsman 500 H.O.'s air lifted into Afghanistan. The military immediately bought them from many dealers. Why a Polaris? Easy to shift, easy to steer, easy to ride over rough stuff all day. You can read all the chat line chatter you want. The 500HOs were what the Taliban bought to use as THEIR version of Military Tanks compared to the United States REAL tanks.[lol]
