Nice pictures...first 'yellow' Xplorer I have seen!
What a clean, neat look it has with the allen head bolt. Mine looks downright shoddy in comparason, with a couple shim washers under a hex bolt head for clearance. I see we both 'double nutted' it, though.

I read on your site you have a tiny tach. Just out of curiousity, about what RPM seems to make the most power, and how high does your engine rev??

That's a Yellow sportsman body, the dark green just didn't it for me.

I called Dynoport to find out where I should set the top end lock up for peak hp.
They said ~5,800-5,900rpm, and thank goodness that is exactly where I had guessed the setup on my roller clutch.
HPD said if I had a better pipe, the porting & parts would make peak at ~6,500rpm.
It's hard to get much of a expansion chamber under a Xplorer body. He did say that he has sold a couple of HPD-scrambler pipes (for the concentric drive models) to guys with Xplorers, and after they made a shifter mount relocation spacer block, they got it to fit. I just don't see how it could fit under the body though, even my Dynoport's small chamber rubs the side panel's heat pad.
IF HPD would send me one to try, and I liked the way it fit & ran, I would get one. With all the machine shops around this town, I know I could get a relocation block made. But, I don't want to sink another $300 in a pipe if it just doesn't fit. Running without the side panel is not an option in my book.
