i read about this in a bike magizine, i'll look for the article and get back to you. as i remember this is done by using a shim (very thin) between the plug and the head. get back to you later, i've got to look at about 40 mag's

Not worth it. If you are racing in a certain CC class where it is very competitive and all the machines are within 1 hp of each other, then indexing the plugs to get that last 0.2 hp might be worth it. Its something the racers do so the open side of the plug gap points towards the intake charge. Don't bother on anything but a full-mod race set-up because you will not notice a difference.

Mine does have the race mod and the reed converted head. I'm looking
for as many ponies as I can get.
So, the open end of the spark plug points towards the intake!
Okay guys THANX!

on the indexing jacobselectronics. has the shims 800-627-8800 u can only use one shim on the plug.( .043 moves the gap 60 degrees, .054 165 degrees, and .064 270 degrees). at ten foot pounds. does it help, well it cant hurt. i would have to say u probley wont notice any difference but u never know. place a mark for the location of the intake valve on the head. mark the plug oppisite where the electrode stem meets the plug body, install the plug
