BigDog,
Where did you get the big bore kit? How do you like it?

BigDog400 (will),

Good to see you join the forum. I'm sure you'll get plenty of questions regarding your mods. By the way, what oil and ratio do you use with your 470 kit? Is the air box being shipped today?

Later,

Waylan

Waylan yes Im shipping your air box today i run 40:1 mix on all my polaris atvs 440 BB and the 470 BB Kit. Just make sure your air to fuel mixture is right. To much oil is just as bad as not enought.Later

Do they have a website? Did you do any dyno runs before-after the BB kit? I am assuming you gained low end torque with the kit, what did you notice?

No Aaen Performance dont have a web site but you can call them at 1-262-552-8981 and ask for a catalog. You will get great torque from these kits and more HP because more CC. There is a very large bottom end increase in power.

No, no, no.....I have both a Banshee and a Sport 400 and I can say that the Sport is suprisingly quick in a short distance drag race. It will hold off a Banshee for about 150 yards or so.

However, you will have to do a lot to the Scrambler to match the Banshee's top end power. I've got the RcR stage 1 kit and a 42mm carb on my Sport, but I don't think it helps top-end too much. Deffinatly a difference in low and mid range though.

Nothing in a polaris will ever keep up with a Banshee on top end but most places you drag race is only 300 feet a good polaris with the right setup will out run a Banshee any day even with pipes. But if you are going to get out in a feild where the banshee can get in 5th or 6th gear you can hang it up. But i dont know two many people that push it to the limit in 6th gear in a feild or road Thats crazy! But on a track or 300' strip the polaris will come out on top! ( if it has a good rider on it!)

I have heard the DS/Baja 650, Raptor and Honda guys running Cutis Sparks (etc...) kits say they cannot beat a Banshee in 5 & 6 gears. Pretty much on the very top end, the Banshee rules.

So the top end stuff with a Banshee isn't a Polaris only issue. How does a modded Polaris run with a modded Raptor, Honda & DS/Baja 650?

It sounds like the can jump them and usually win, but I not sure. Anyone have any comments?
