suvere brakes

hello i went to the dealer to order my brakes and i asked for suvere brakes and then he went to the little microfish and looked up the stock part numbers and he gave me prices so i asked again if that was suvere and he just said yea how do i know if they are really suvere brake pads please help i need brakes

Redjosh,
severe duty pad material is far harder than the material that comes on stock pads and you can visual see the sintered metal material on the pad.

thanks for the info i asumme there will be a price differents for them cause for front and rear pads and rotor the dealer told me around $120 and i was expecting it to be more for the severe duty stuff

When I put pads on my Scrammy last I used EBCs severe duty pads. I really do believe there is a diiference in stopping power now. Of course my old pads were probably just worn bad enough to loose some stopping power. I only have approx 100-150 miles since the change but Ive been trying to keep an eye on the pads to see if they were worth the extra dollars and so far they seem to be wearing very well.
