Filtercharger on a Scrambler?
#1
I am tired of taking my airbox in and out of my scrambler, so I was going to put on a filtercharger and a water repellant outerware. I will probably not get a K&N filtercharger though, It gets good power, but i'll probably get like a Uni, durablue, or a TwinAir so It will filter finer particles.
Will I have to re-jet? I already have a UNI filter, and air-box mod, and it's jetted slightly rich. I hate my airbox!
I ride in some mud, and will have to put my airbox back on when I ride. but if I do that, will It be okay?
If anyone has a coupla outerwears, or and kind of filtercharger that they aren't using, please e-mail me at amscrambl06@aol.com or private message.

I have a k&n filtercharger on my scrambler 400 and i have never had any problems out of it. I also bought a outerwear that don't do any good. I really don't ride in the mud often i primarily race. I didn't have to rejet with the airfilter but if i was u i would put the airfilter on and chech the spark plug. If it is running to lean i would try to adjust it out with the air screw. It shouldn't be off that much, if any.
