89 trail boss??????????????

Im looking to buy my first atv and i know a guy who is selling an 89 trail boss for $800 the only thing wrong with it is it needs a new clutch and he will put that in if i buy it. do u guys think this is a good deal or should i wait and find a better deal im trying to stay under $1000

does it need a belt or whole clutch?If it just needs a belt go for it.

Check the compression, if its good, go for it.

Get the price on a new clutch before you buy it because it may be expensive.

i used to have a 96 trailboss 250,(it is a 250 right?) yeah u will like it. get any pipe clutch kit for the older trail blazer/boss and u will be on your way
