I'm thinking of adding another 4x4 auto and really cannot decide. I LOVE the HO, but don't want two (OR the 700) if I can avoid it.

So I'm looking at brand jumping here. I figure anything substantially less than the HO would be unsatisfactory which makes it tougher, and almost points towards the Grizzly. I don't think Bombi has done IRS yet have they???

I looked at the new grizzly and the rubicon and the arctic cat and I really like the cat. It has IRS, and 13 inches of ground clearance. Also, the cats have come a long way with reliability and comfort of ride.

I would wait for the new Honda 650 Rincon that would be my second choice. Yamaha 660 I would not buy because I like to go slow crawl over rocks a lot (Moab style riding) and with the Boiling gas then vapor locking problem when you go slow it would not fit my riding style.
The cat is to slow for when I really want to go fast and the Kawasaki has a straight rear axle after having IRS I would never go back to non IRS. Both the Kawasaki and Yamaha I would also have to pay a extra $400 to $500 for new rims and tires because the stock tires and rims are crap. The 700 is the best choice if you wanted all the options stock like nice tires and heavy duty parts. The reason for the Honda second is brand loyalty I would much rather spend that extra $400 to $500 on a Honda then a Kawasaki or Yamaha.
Also if I want a faster quad like the Kawasaki 650 I would just buy a true sport quad like a DS 650 or Raptor my utility quad I want the comfort of IRS not a ride of a solid axle. Just my opinion of what I would want.

I think most of the manufactures are relatively close in technology when it comes to longevity and dependability. Prices are fairly close to. However, style and ergonomics also play a big part in picking out the "next" machine. If I couldnt get another Polaris, I think I would have to go with one of the Hondas. I had three Hondas growing up, and they never let me down.

Have you given any thought to the low tech 2 stroke 400 explorer?THat 400 engine is awsome. I have one of the older 400 sportsman and it will do anything you want of it.Plus they are fun to hop up and real affordable.Just a thought.
