Just updated my profile for you COONEYJR. I'm planning on getting a new one, they are still making limited 400 2-strokes in the ScramblerX form.

Every other weekend i make it out there will be there this coming sunday but i will be stuck on a trailblazer, My bike is still down @#$@$%, but when i get it back together ill let you make a run on it You never know you might get one for yourself. My advice on the scrambler is both 400 and 500 are good bikes if you want to get into some mods and acutally see a improvment get the 400. 400 4x4 HPD trail pipe modded airbox with some clutch work good by 400ex. If you go to the dunes you would have a good time on that ride with some paddles so see you can get it for your son and enjoy it yourself.

Cooneyjr,
When you start a topic with the title "scambler are junk" you can't expect to get the greatest response from people. First thing your gonna due is pi$$ people off. I am sure thats why they made the remarks they did. Nobody here cares how much money you make, it doesn't make you more of a man to us. Nobody said your grammer or spelling needs to be perfect, but it would make your question easier to answer. If you show respect to others, they will respect you in return (usually).

Hey cooney,
I may have some input here that might help you. My son and I are newcomers to the atv scene. I wasn't sure what to buy, but got opinions from everyone I could. The company I work for buy alot of Polaris from a dealer here in Michigan, the salesman let me have two machines at a very good price. I bought myself a 2002 Scrambler 400x and I bought my son a 2002 Trail Boss. I wasn't sure how my son would take to it, be he is a natural. He is 13, and probably about the same size as your son. I made the mistake of letting him ride my machine, now he wants to ride it all the time. Luckily for him, my Dad has gotten the bug, so I'm going to sell the Trail Boss to him and buy another 400x. I really love this machine, and I think you and your son will too. Last weekend there was a guy up at a place to ride just north of me, he has a Honda 400ex. There was snow and ice on the ground, and I had him and six others riding behind me as I made trails. So I guess you could say that at least once he got smoked by a Scrambler. Hope this long winded reply helps.

A W-2 will only show that there is another person alive who is nieve enough to over pay you. Gross annual income means nothing in the dunes, on the track, or trails, or here for that matter.

Please fax a copy of your birth certificate with that W-2. My Visa is maxed out and I need a new one!

To answer your question. I am not really sure........I think it is alot more responsive then either of those machines you mentioned.
