i'm tried of people saying that the trailblazer is a good bigginer bike just because you don't have to shift gears. And the motor has plenty of power.
how many people have automatic transmissions in there cars or trucks. i don't think you classify you $20,000 car or truck a biginner vehicle for your kid to have do you. do you people that bash polaris see were i'm coming from.

trailblazer,

I really hate to say this but the Trailblazer is a good beginner quad, but not just because of the transmission. I can't remember how many people I've introduced to the joys of riding because of it. The combination of a mild power and automatic transmission make it nearly perfect to teach someone the basics of riding. There are some automatics that I wouldn't even think of putting a beginner on (namely my Sport). Some autos have WAY too much power for someone just learning to ride.

Hmmm, That's the same reason a Blaster is a good beginner quad. Plus it's the right size for a 9 yr old.

I beg to differ. The T-Blazer is not under powered,it just needs a little tweeking. As far as it being a beginner machine, it can be.I have been riding off and on for about 12 years and I like it just fine, but on the other hand my wife has no experience what so ever and she had no problems on it either.

Just ignore every post by a blaster owner.

They feel they have something to prove because of their Child ATV. My TB doesn't have a throttle limiter on it!

With a RCR kit the Trail Blazer comes to life!

I haven't raced a blaster but i've heard of plenty TB/Blaster Races and the TB always wins!

'97 TB,
Sure the TB motor isn't a powerhouse but that stock low engagement really kills it. After a pipe & a higher engagement spring it is diffently better.
And... I shouldn't say bad things about the Blaster it is a fine machine. The problem seems to be the jerk-offs that ride them. It's like the guy that has a mean -*** AMC Hornet because he put a glasspack on it. It's not the Hornets fault....

The Trail Blazer is a good quad for a first time rider or any kind of rider. As for Blasters well they are decent for what they do, but for all around use they don't compare to a Trail Blazer. Trail Blazers are roomier, easier to drive by anyone, have reverse, and eletric start. the Trail Blazer in my opinion is one of the best deals in the ATV world. I have a question about Blasters how come almost every ad I see for them for sale they always say rebuilt motor? I never see that in a Trail Blazer ad.
