Looking for A-Arm guards & plastic handguards ???
#2
I'd say head over to your dealer. The Polaris plastic hand gaurds are nice, but if you really wanted better, then I guess you can shop around. Ask your dealer because he might be able to order you some other kind too if you are not satisfied. I have very nice handgaurds on my quad, but I can't tell you where to get them from since they were on my quad when I bough it used. They are a heavier duty plastic than the Polaris', and they have a aluminum piece around the outside to make them even more durable. The plastic Polaris ones should hold up fine tho.
As far as A-arm gaurds go, Polaris makes two kinds. One is aluminum. These are more of just a skid plate for the bottom of the a-arms incase you like to rock crawl and whatnot. If you are lookin for more cv boot protection, then I suggest you don't get the aluminum skid plates, go with the plastic gaurds. The plastic ones rap around the entire a-arm and are higher up to provide protection for your cv boots. Mine are holding up fine, although I had to bend the metal clips back a couple times since I bent them.(hehe) If you want the ultimate, get a Dennis Kirk catalog and check out the all steel or aluminum Oxlite or Moose brush gaurds. I heard those are tough (they look tough). They run about $44, and can take some insame abuse...more than the plastic ones.
Hope I helped.
