#1
Can anybody tell me what type of compound that I can use to remove all of the scratches on my 500 SP? I am wanting to sell this machine and buy a new 500 Remington. The plastic seens to a lot harder and will not scratch as easy.

Wash your bike very good and coat all of the plastic with a generous coat of son of a gun and let it sit about 30 minutes and then go back and buff the plastic with a soft cloth, It fills in the scratches and makes it look as new as the day you brought it home, Click on my link below and you can check out my bike, Those pics are with about a year & 1/2 of ride time on my machine.

If you want to remove the sratches completely with out getting new plastic use Plastic Renew it comes in a kit form and has enough product to redo two atv's. It cost's from 20-30 dollars depending where you buy it. I've used it before and had great results. My fender's looked like junk before and like it came off the showroom floor after a few hour's of labor. It work's great if you have lot's of deep scratches.
