Split brake kit
#1
Has anyone added a split brake kit to a Polaris Sportsman?
I have seen one available on the internet. Are there multiple aftermarket providers for this kit and does anyone know if they will fit on a Sportsman?
Thanks!

Not sure about the Sportsman application. Try doing a search under brakes, there should be plenty of info (has been hot topic in the past) I think Magura is one of the only remaining sources. What's the 240hp Sportjet? Turbine powered quad? (in my dreams)

Thanks. My bad for not thinking to do a search before I posted. There is alot regarding that subject.
The Speedster is my Summer hobby. It's a SeaDoo 16' jet boat with a 240HP EFI V6 Mercury inboard jet drive. If I could only get that engine into my Sportsman!!! ;-)

Not to deviate off quads too much, but that V-6 Mercury is the best thing to happen to that boat. I'd rather maintain one engine than the two they used to have. What does it top out at MPH wise?

It's not as fast as you'd think it would be. When the speedo shows around 62mph, my GPS shows around 54 mph. Where it has it is in acceleration and manuverability. It'll practically rip your arms off if the driver nails it all the way when trying to pull out a skier. With 2 on board, it will get on plane in about the length of the boat. It is a nice powerplant!
