My basic warranty on my Sportsman 700 runs out at the end of this month. I called my dealer today to check on the extended warranty price. Like so many other things in regards to the SP700 he did not have the answer. He is to check into it and will call me back tomorrow. In the mean time, I was wondering if any other SP700 owners had purchased the extended warranty and what kind of deals they were getting. I will update this post hopefully tomorrow if my dealer gets me an answer.

 

Here are the figures given to me by my dealer on February 9 when I purchased my 700. I haven't bought the warranty yet, but he told me he could do better than these figures.

No deductable 24mos.$534, 36mos. 690, 48mos. 836, 60mos.874

$25.00 deductable 24mos. 492, 36mos. 628. 48mos. 756, 60mos. 788

 

I'm interested in this myself, if it's like everything else, you can't modify it without having polaris install everything or it voids the warranty, just a thought!

 

My dealer just called me with the extended warranty prices for the SP700. 36 months-$545.00, 60 months-$657.00. It looks like dealers can be flexible on their prices. It looks like I will be signing up for the 60 month plan this coming Saturday.
